Poppy Seed started as a weekend farmers' market stall with a folding table and a dream. What began as neighborly conversations over sourdough and espresso grew into something the whole community could claim as their own.
Today, our kitchen on South 8th Street is still small by design. We'd rather bake fewer things perfectly than many things adequately. Every recipe is tested until it earns a place on our shelves, and every ingredient is chosen with the same care we'd give a meal for family.
We source from Idaho farms whenever possible, work with local roasters, and believe that a bakery should be a gathering place — not just a transaction. That's the spirit we bring to the oven every morning.
